Background: I was tasked with digitally illustrating posters based on musical acts/productions. I was given creative freedom to explore styles of mark making, texture, and color.

Design core: I chose free, sketch like styles of mark making and bold, complementary color palettes. This resulted in a unique and innovative stylized illustration, with dynamic compositions and lots of visual texture.

Favorite Details: The incorporation of visual metaphors in the posters resulted in posters that hold multiple interpretations yet cling close to the original subject matter.

Time constraints: Start to finish these posters took just under four weeks, with lots of color experimentation and texture refinement.
